Located on the eastern peninsula of Manitoulin Island and Point Grondine on the mainland, Wiikwemkoong Unceded Territory is home to the largest Anishnaabek community (Ojibwe, Odawa, and Pottawatomi) on the island. Covering 55,781.1 hectares this scenic territory offers visitors plenty of opportunity for outdoor adventure while experiencing the culture and traditions of the Anishinabek people. Wiikwemkoong invites you to join in the celebration of their rich heritage and community spirit by attending one of several cultural events taking place throughout the year.

Wikwemikong Annual Cultural Festival
Established in 1961 and the longest-running pow wow in Northeastern North America, this celebration of arts, culture, and dance, is a bucket list event. The three-day festival features:
